Winter 2011-2012 Fashion College Trend Forecast

As winter gradually approaches, fashion school students and fashionistas study up on new, creative ideas for the upcoming season's fashion trends. Luckily for all of the concerned parties above, some trends on the forecast are bold, layered and more expressive than ever. If you're somebody who's curious in attending fashion manufacture college, or you just love to spruce up your wardrobe every season, then read on for some especially sizzling fashion tips to keep your spirit warm this winter.

1. One great coat. A thick warm coat is a necessity as the temperature cools down and it begins to rain, hail and snow. If you want to go out and about in this weather, you must dress in layers to keep your body warm! This season, fashion school students can actually make a statement with thick, knitted coats in bright, bold hues. For an urban-chic style, try a well-tailored trench or pea coat in a smart tweed. For a more bohemian look, try an oversized, wool wraparound sweater or poncho. To accomplish a preppy but cute look, try a long toggle-coat.

2. Stay warm in a One-Piece. This winter, the fruitful, funky decade of the 1970's continues to sway fashion trends. Full-body jumpers, or "one-pieces" as we like to call them are taking the fashion world by storm, and they are surely a must-have for some subtle elegance in winter. Depending on your body type, you can try a long-sleeved or sleeveless one-piece, or a scoop neck for a sexier, evening look. If you want to continue to experiment with separate cuts and the way they flatter the figure, try a wide-legged bodysuit, a harem pant or a tighter, skinny-cut. Also, for a versatile style, try experimenting with separate fabrics, such as silk, satin or even leather!

3. Mixing bold prints and patterns. It's never been cooler to be brave and memorable with print and color choices. Though any fashion-conscious beast fears clashing colors, the fall and winter catwalks have made it clear that one should not fear the idea of kicking their style up a notch this season. Try mixing a colored-jean with a prison-striped t-shirt. Color-blocking, (or combining the use of two or more solid blocks of color in one garment or ensemble) is also a super-hot look right now.

Remember, just because the weather covering is terrific and dreary doesn't mean your winter wardrobe has to be!

Men's Fashion Trends in the 70s

The 70s fashion looks as attractive as the modern fashion. In fact, the 70s fashion was a great way to show off your free spirit personality. In the 1970s, population like to wear frayed jeans because they were trendy. The tie dye shirts and blouses were quite favorite as well. It was also the time of the creation of the mini-skirt, a very short skirt that only barely covered a lady's backside. This was fashion that showed off and flaunted women's new found sexual liberation and the close-fitting and skimpy clothing was one area which honestly excelled at it.

The Seventies also changed the way in which population shopped for clothing. Market tended to put clothing where they felt it was favorable for them. For example, they might keep all the dresses in one area, all the shirts in someone else and all the skirts in the corner. During the 70s, retailers began to inspect other options. One trend that honestly picked up was by placing clothing that complimented each other close by. someone else that went was to place products by color, so that colors that worked well together were all the time close by. These easy changes were loved by the social who now found knowing what looked good much easier.

Poncho

The mid-70s, around 1975, saw in the introduction of the bell-bottom trousers. These were trousers with immense hems, often also called flares. By the end of the 70s, these bell-bottom trousers had begun to narrow out, but they would still be around for a fair few years.  The favorite colors of the 70s complicated a lot of emarald/bottle green and plain white. White was also favorite During the 80s, where it also found its way into suits and other formal-wear.

Although it was generally a obvious and fun time for fashion, the 70s also had its fair share of fashion mistakes. First up was the poncho. These over-all style clothing were originally used by campers, hikers and explorers because of the lightweight, waterproof and windproof security that they could speedily offer should the weather take a negative turn. Unfortunately, it was pushed as a legitimate piece of designer clothing  for women.  Luckily it did not last too long, although it fared good on children where the utilitarian use was more apt.

Overall, the 1970s was a good decade for men's fashion and designer clothing. Although it was not quite as memorable as the 1960s it honestly was not as hated as the 1980s. It gave us many great styles, some of which are still in use today. Music was a great motivator in this time, which can be seen with the very 'slick' trends.

Boho Chic, Boho Style - A Fashion Trend that Focuses on Details

Chances are you're on one side of the fence: you love the Boho style that ruled 2005 or are sick of wearing fashions that make you feel like a newly-eighteen Olsen. The good news is everybody will love what fall and winter fashion has to offer. Fans of the look that made Sienna Miller a fashion icon will undoubtedly love the over-the-top information that will continue from Boho Chic into fall. Others that never felt comfortable in heavy jewelry, metal-adorned belts and shoes and flowy, diaphanous skirts, the new crop of fashion offers a separate advent to rich information that may make you feel more pulled together than finding like a gypsy.

Bold accessories will remain a staple in every fashion-forward woman's wardrobe. Sorry Boho Chic haters, belts and boots look like they have staying power along with pendants, over-sized earrings, long chains and drop earrings. They may be staying on the shelves, but stones, feathers and shells that decorated the ears of spring and summer's hottest fashionistas will be supplanted by rhinestone-encrusted chandeliers and delicate drops. The long necklaces paired with the over-stated earrings will morph slightly from heavy, multi-layered, multi-stone piece to a simpler, chic, one-strand accessory. While the length and materials remain the same (gold still the winner), the information will shift from Boho's accessories to fall and winter's fabrics.

Poncho

Ultra-rich fabrics like lace and brocade are the hottest additions to fall and winter lines. Back-again-black along with gray and purple are the most popular for jaw-dropping dresses, frilly tops and tweed trousers that will line racks and closets everywhere in upcoming months. The feminine, flowy look will still be desirable, but it will be achieved with blouson skirts and culottes instead of sheer, floor-length numbers. If you're involved newer more regal fabrics like velvet, lace and tweed will still look make you look more thirties than twenties, you can still look eclectic-chic by matching new pieces with your popular over-stated Boho belts and jewelry. If you're still worried about shifting from fun and flirty to dark and serious, mix fabrics to accomplish an even more eclectic look: there are No rules this season about mixing tweeds and velvet or brocades with lace. More than anything, have fun mixing your existing styles with a totally new style to find your personal fit--fall and winter will bring plentifulness of occasion to get away with experimenting.
