Race Checklists

Runners and walkers who participate in marathons, half marathons, and other durableness races should use a set of race-day checklists for many reasons:

Injury prevention: You can take many actions to protect yourself from injury on race day. But you have to make sure that you have all things handy to take those actions. You can have these things on your body, in your hydration belt, with your family members and friends along the race course, and in your post-race supplies. Increased likelihood to reaching the race on time: You are much more likely to leave your home or hotel efficiently when you have planned and ready for every contingency. Faster recovery: You will recover faster from your race when you have every salvage item immediately accessible beyond the cease line instead of having to wait -- possibly hours -- to return to your home or hotel room. Decreased stress: You will suffer much less distress on race day when you know that all things is arranged for a successful race. Here are three race-related lists of items to get ready for your next race.
