A Easy Crochet Afghan Pattern You Can Turn Into a Poncho

I originally made this into a light weight crocheted afghan but every person used it as a wrap nearby that is was easy to turn it into a light weight poncho. The kids will go crazy for this crochet afghan pattern. This may sound hard but it's easy even for the beginner crocheter. Don't forget to make the crochet afghan too.

Crochet afghan pattern turned into a poncho. Just supervene the directions.

Poncho

Use a big crochet hook, at least bigger than a K or you can use a smaller one. The loops will be as big or slight as you want them. If you want the crochet afghan pattern turned poncho a slight heavier then use a smaller hook. As I said, it's a light weight crochet afghan. The first chain depends on how big or slight you are so you might have to make adjustments.

Chain 60 then duplicate crochet in every 4th chain from the end all over the chain. Chain 3 and turn. duplicate crochet in each duplicate crochet across. Chain 3 again and turn. If you want to add different colors add them at the beginning of the turn. Repeat row 2 for 3 to 10 rows. Again development adjustment to your own size.

Finishing: fold in half, using a slip stitch join both sides together. Check at this point to make sure it will fit you or the someone you're development it for. You can put fringe on it if you like fringe. I personally don't like fringe but some citizen do. Make them 12 to 16 inches long and use a slip knot to attach them to the edges.

To make the crochet afghan pattern, don't connect the edges together. This crochet afghan pattern makes a nice and cozy light weight afghan for those cool summer nights where a heavy afghan is, well, too heavy. Good luck.
